Luxury jewellery · India
Four people walked in. Your floor sold to one of them.
The other three decided.
We train jewellery floors to read the whole room, and we host the evenings where the room makes up its mind.
Thirty minutes. Bring the store that will not move.
Where the money is decided
Nobody buys jewellery alone.
A bridal purchase is five people, three generations and six weekends. Your staff are trained to answer whoever is holding the tray.
“Will I still look like me in this?”
Answered with karat weight.
“Is this the right amount to spend on my daughter?”
Nobody makes her feel it was.
“Does this respect our side of the family?”
Never addressed. Frequently decisive.
“Am I being handled, or advised?”
Asks about resale value to stay in the conversation.
“How long is this going to take?”
An incremental sale, scrolling in the corner.
It is the same on a festive floor. A gifting decision has a spouse in it. A self-purchase has a friend in it, and her opinion moves faster than yours. One conversation cannot land on five people.
Filmed on the floor, not in a studio
Seven things I get told in jewellery boardrooms.
All seven from people who were entirely sincere and entirely wrong. Tap any film.
It does not. She leaves because nothing happened to her.
Forty lakh of interiors cannot make anyone feel welcome.
Nobody has been argued into desire. Style it, then explain it.
Tradition needs translating. Shaadi ke liye hai lost the room in 2015.
She does not need help choosing. She needs help seeing.
In billing flow. Not in what a room reads off a rushed smile.
They do. They also teach her to wait for the next one.
Loyalty and revenue leaking quietly, and it is almost never the product.
Three things, in this order
Fill the room. Style the room. Then train the room to run itself.
Most brands buy the third one first. It is the slowest of the three.

01 · Fastest revenue
In-store engagement evenings
- Live draping and occasion styling, in a lounge we build where your counter was.
- The whole party is worked, not the person paying. Mother, mother-in-law, groom.
- Storytelling on the pieces she can retell at dinner on Sunday.
- 30 to 100 customers, half day to full day. Bridal evenings run smaller and convert harder.
Your staff stand beside me and watch. By the fifth customer they are running one themselves, which is a training day nobody had to be released for.

02 · The flagship
Bridal styling zones
- Face shape and neckline mapping. The necklace is chosen against her, not against the tray.
- All her functions in sequence, so she stops buying the same look twice in different metals.
- Trousseau sequencing. What to buy now, what waits, what she wears again in five years.
- The family, handled. Each person in that group has a different fear. We name all of them out loud on day one.
The doubt that keeps a bride circling three brands for six weeks is rarely about the jewellery. When she can see the whole wedding, she stops comparing.

03 · So it holds
Floor and staff training
- Presence. Posture, entrance, standing at a counter without hovering.
- Reading the group in thirty seconds. Wedding, gift, investment or reward, and who in the party actually decides.
- Recovery. The ninety seconds after something goes wrong. The most valuable module we run and the one nobody asks for.
- Seven cities, one date, one hour. Certified trainers, identical rubric, comparable numbers.
| What they say now | What they say after |
|---|---|
| I don’t know | I will find out |
| No | What I can do is |
| That’s not my job | Let me find the right person |
| Calm down | I apologise |
Forty minutes of drilling. Your customers hear the difference the same week. If the budget covers one cohort, train the managers.

Take one to your next floor meeting
Two guides written for the counter, not the marketing deck.
Free and ungated. A sales associate reads one on a Tuesday and uses it on the Saturday.
What a customer is really asking when she asks about purity, and how to answer her mother at the same time.
The four Cs are the easy part. This is what to say when she is comparing you to the store two doors down.

Six o’clock to nine
What an engagement evening feels like.
Nobody asks this on a first call and everybody wants to know.
The floor changes
The counter stops being the centre of the room. A styling area goes up where she sits and I stand.
Nobody sells her anything
Greeted by name, because the list was curated. First question is the function, not the budget.
The mirror
Drape, piece, face, neckline. There is usually a pause. That pause is the business model.
The story
Where the piece came from, why this stone. Something the whole family repeats at dinner on Sunday.
Your staff are watching
Beside me, not serving. By the third customer they copy the questions. By the fifth they run one.
The billing counter
Quietly, without anyone pushing. She has already seen herself wearing it.
Honestly
Four other ways to solve this, and where each stops.
| Option | Genuinely good at | Where it stops |
|---|---|---|
| A discount campaign | Fast, predictable, fills the store this weekend. | Fixes footfall, not conversion. You buy the same sale twice. |
| An event agency | Production, logistics, photographs. | They fill a room. They cannot style the family standing in it, and nothing stays with your team. |
| An influencer agency | Reach, speed, content volume. | A reel does not drape a saree on a nervous bride in your Indore store on a Saturday. |
| Your internal L&D team | Cheapest at scale, knows your systems. | Product knowledge is not presence, and they cannot host a customer-facing evening. |
The row that does not exist is the reason we do. One team that trains your floor, hosts your customers, and measures both.
You want footfall without changing anything. We will still run it and it will still work that weekend, but you are buying the smaller version.
You want a promotion with a stylist next to it. An event agency does that more cheaply. This works because there is no discount in the room.
Store managers are exempt from the training. The floor reads that instantly, and nothing survives past week two.
How you will know
We agree the baseline before the event, not after it.
Most retail activations cannot prove anything because nobody wrote down the starting number.
Footfall against invitations sent
Dwell time on the floor
Conversion on the day, against your normal weekend
Cart value against your floor average
05 · Repeat visit inside ninety days. The one that matters and the one nobody measures, because it arrives after everyone has stopped paying attention.
| Format | Duration | Scale | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Engagement event | Half to full day | 30–100 customers | Styling lounges, previews, festive weeks |
| Bridal evening | Evening | 30–60 families | Wedding season, bridal collection |
| Launch experience | One day | 50–100 | New collection, lab-grown, flagship opening |
| Multi-city simultaneous | One date | 5–7 cities at once | National recall and consistency |
| Floor training | Half or full day | Store or cluster | Capability that holds after we leave |
| Annual retainer | Monthly or quarterly | Whole network | The Tanishq model, three years |
Pricing follows scope, not a rate card. Format, cities and numbers, and you will have a proposal.
What brands ask
Nine questions, every first call.
Is this training or marketing?
How many customers at an event?
Can you do multiple cities?
What languages?
Who delivers?
How do we measure it?
Do you bring the guest list?
What does it cost?
Can we certify our own trainers?
Talk to us
Tell us what your floor is doing. We will tell you what is missing.
Thirty minutes. Bring it as your business experiences it: conversion that will not move, a bride circling three brands for six weeks, a lab-grown line that is not landing, two stores in one city performing differently on the same inventory.
If it is an inventory or a location problem wearing an experience problem as a disguise, we will tell you that instead.
You will do most of the talking. We name the leak before we name a price.
